On Father's Day, the summer concert series in McKeesport began with an opening from the Vogues. Chuck Blasko, the lead singer and the only original, performed for 1,500+ people in Renzihausen Park.

Singing his classic songs such as "You Are My Special Angel," "5:00 World," and their first hit, "You Are The One," which was written by Petula Clark and recorded by Gateway on Market Street in Pittsburgh in 1965, Blasko entertained everyone in attendance.
The summer concert series is hosted by the city of McKeesport and The Lions Club. Since the concerts are all free to the public, the Lions Club hosts a 50/50 to offset the cost of the concerts. This concert's 50/50 brought in a total of $2,388, with the winner of the raffle taking home $1,194!
The concerts also provide concession stands and public restrooms, but if you plan on attending, you will need a chair. For upcoming concerts, please contact the Lions Club.
