Windover Hills School, located in the Windover Hills United Methodist Church at the corner of Ridge and Wilson Roads in South Park, is receiving registrations.
"Me and My Shadow" is full on Tuesdays but has opened a new class on Thursdays from 9:30 - 11 a.m. It is offered for two-year-olds and the child's caregiver. They will focus on socialization, comfort in a school situation, creative play, gross motor development, music and more!
The nursery school program is for children who turn 3 by August 31. They meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15 - 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 - 2:45 p.m. This class introduces colors, shapes, the alphabet and more through music, play and crafts.
The preschool program is open to children who turn four by August 31. They meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:15 - 11:45 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. This class works on developing fine and gross motor skills, alphabet recognition, phonics, printing and other preparatory skills for kindergarten. They also take time for creative play, art, science, music and field trips.
Children must be potty trained for the nursery school and preschool classes.
