During their stay, the kids were able to do a variety of activities like zip lining through the rainforest, swimming in La Fortuna Waterfall, kayak on Lake Arenal, and go whitewater rafting. The students were able to practice their Spanish speaking skills to speak to native people, order indigenous foods, and shop in the local markets.

They explored the town of Tortuguero and were able to see a variety of animals like monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, caiman, and toucans. On the tour, they saw how chocolate was made and then hiked through Rincón National Park. Students were able to swim and snorkel in the Pacific Ocean and relax in the hot springs of Volcán Arenal.
