Clairton Elementary hosted the 1st Annual Donuts for Dads on September 23rd in the elementary cafeteria. Over 150 "dads" attended. The event was sponsored by the Clairton Chapter of the National Honor Society and the Title I Parent/Community Advisory Council.

The day was a celebration of "dads" in the lives of Clairton Elementary students. Dads were represented by dads, uncles, grandfathers, any important male figure in the students’ lives.

Students and adults enjoyed donuts and juice prior to completing a story "If You Give a Dad a Donut'" and a donut activity titled "Donut How Much I Love You!" Finally, to end the event, there were raffles and each student and adult had their pictures taken.
