The following events are planned at the Peters Township Recreation Center.
Senior Luncheon Planned at Peters Twp. Recreation Center
Luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of each month from noon to 2 p.m. and include entertainment, an interesting speaker or interactive activity. This is a free event, but we ask that you bring a covered dish or dessert to share.
Day: October 11 – Karaoke sing-along with DJ Ray
Time: Noon to 2 p.m.
Location: Peters Township Recreation Center, Multi-Purpose Room
AARP Senior Drivers Safety Program Offered at Peters Twp. Recreation Center
This is an 8-hour 2-day class held at Peters Township Community Recreation Center, 700 Meredith Drive, Venetia. Pre-registration required.
Minimum 8 – Maximum 15
Day: Monday and Tuesday, November 13 & 14
Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Fee: $15 AARP Member / $20 AARP Non-Member
We are offering a 4-hour refresher course for those that have previously taken an 8-hour course. This will be held at Peters Township Community Recreation Center, 700 Meredith Drive, Venetia. Pre-registration required.
Minimum 8 – Maximum 15
Day: Monday, December 4 (must bring certificate & AARP card)
Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Fee: $15 AARP Member / $20 AARP Non-Member
