Take a scenic four-mile long trolley ride this fall at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum! The museum's fall hours are Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. from Labor Day to mid-December. Tours begin on the hour with the last tour starting an hour before closing.

For an evening of fun, dancing, food, refreshments and chances to win money/prizes, please plan to join us on Saturday, November 15. The South Park Historical Society will hold their second Oldies Dance Bash at the Library Fire Hall from 5 to 10 p.m.

Munchkin Mondays, Carnegie Science Center's program for early learners ages 2-6, has resumed on Mondays from 10 a.m. − 2 p.m. and will run weekly through October 27.

The Amphitheater Committee held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their newly renovated site at Monessen City Park on Friday, August 22. It incorporated music, food, speeches, and the history of the amphitheater itself.
