Tyler Shash became the Leo of the Year on Wednesday, August 6 at the annual Lions' District 14 banquet, held in Greensburg. He is the son of Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Jill Shash of Monessen.

The Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce notes the passing of Pierre A. Luti, one of the organization's longtime supporters.
