Make a lasting difference in someone’s life...as well as your own. People helping people.

That’s what giving time to hospice care is all about. If you have a passion for caring for others, and if you’re looking for a way to make a difference in people’s lives, consider becoming a volunteer at Amedisys Hospice.

As a hospice volunteer, and as an important part of our hospice care team, you can help improve the quality of life for our patients, as well as their families and caregivers. There are many opportunities for people to help. Something that seems so small or insignificant can make a big difference in someone’s life. Hospice volunteers can offer companionship or activities with patients, provide emotional support, professional volunteers including music, art, pet therapy or hairdressers/barbers are needed, or office support.

Time is valuable. Consider giving some of your time to make others’ lives brighter. You may find that your life becomes brighter too.
