Ron Necciai was inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame as the 19th Mid Mon Valley chapter inductee. Proceedings were held for the 52nd Annual State Induction Ceremony Saturday, November 8 at the Woodlands Inn and Resort Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Peters Township Parks & Recreation and Peters Township School District will present a Sportsmanship & Concussion Awareness Workshop on Tuesday, November 18. The workshop will be held at the Community Recreation Center from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

The Charleroi Area Lady Cougars have taken first place in Class A, Section 2. It has been 12 years since Lady Cougars Soccer has held this title.

The Juvenile and Senior Modernette Corps competed at the America's Youth on Parade (AYOP) National Championship competition held at Notre Dame University, South Bend, Indiana, and the last week in July.
